The “Sports Manager” module allows the administrator to create sports based on gender, players for the sports, coaches for the sports, and a game schedule.
The “Coach Manager” allows you to manage the coaches of the sports that you have created. You must add a sport before using the “Coach Manager”. When adding a coach you will have the following options:
Sport – Select the sport you want to add the created coach to.
Full Name – Enter the name of the coach you are creating.
Title – Enter the job title for the coach.
Picture – Click on the “Browse” button to browse your hard drive for a picture file to upload for the coach.
Bios – Enter information about the coach you are adding.
The “Sports Manager” allows you to manage sports by adding a sport such as “Football”. When adding a sport you will have the following options.
Sport Name – Enter the name of the sport in this field such as “Football”.
Team Picture – You can click the browse to browse your hard drive for a picture to upload.
Team Year – Enter the year for the created sport.
Male / Female Sport – Select if it’s a male or female sport.
The “Player Manager” allows you to manage athletes that have been added to a sport, you can also add new athletes to a sport. When adding a player you will have the following options.
Sport – Select the sport from the dropdown to associate the created player to a sport.
Full Name – Enter the name of the athlete.
Picture – You can click the “Browse” button to browse your hard drive to upload a picture of the athlete you are creating.
Bios – Enter information about the player in this field.
Year – Year they are in if you are creating this player for a high school or college such as “freshman”
Height – Enter how tall a user is in this field.
Position – Enter the position this player plays in the sport.
Home Town – Enter the town this player comes from.
High School – Enter the high school this player attended.
Player Number – The number on the player’s jersey the player wears while playing the sport.
Enable the “Sports Manager”? – Select “Yes” if you want to use the “Sports Manager” on your website, otherwise select “No”.
The name of your conference. – If your sports belong to a conference, then enter it into this field, otherwise leave empty to disable the conference.
Keys to be able to access the “Sports Manager”. – Select the keys a user must have to be able to have access to the “Sports Manager” module.
Keys to manage the “Sports Manager”. – Select the keys a user must have to be able to manage the “Sports Manager” module. Users in this key will be able to add, edit and delete sports, coaches, players, and games.
This screen will allow you to modify the main “Sports Manager” page that a user will see when entering the “Sports Manager” module.
