The “Postcards” module enables your members to send cards through email to any other email address. This module doesn’t come with any default postcards so the administrator has to create categories and upload postcard images to their categories for a user to use this module.
To add a new category, you only need to click the “Add Category” button on the top of your screen. This module only has a single level category designed unlike most of the other modules. When adding a category the only field you need to fill out is the “Category Name”.
To add and delete postcards on your website, you can click on a category you have created and you will see two more buttons on the top of your screen. One will read “Manage Postcards” where you can delete existing postcards from your website. The other button is “Add Postcard” which will allow you to add a postcard, and all that is required is for you to select the “Browse” button to browse your hard drive for an image to upload as a postcard.
Enable the postcards? – Select “Yes” to enable the postcards module, otherwise select “No”.
Header for the postcards when they are sent (can use HTML) – You can enter HTML code in this field, this text will display on the top of the email when a postcard is sent to a user.
Footer for the postcards when they are sent (can use HTML) - You can enter HTML code in this field, this text will display on the bottom of the email when a postcard is sent to a user.
Keys to access the postcards. – Select the keys that will be able to access the “Postcards” module.
Keys to send a postcard. – Select the keys a user must have to send a postcard to someone’s email address.
Keys to manage the postcards. – Select the keys a user must have to manage the “Postcards” module. Users in this key will be able to add and modify categories and postcards.
