The “Polls” module enables your members to vote and view results for “Polls” that you have created on your website. You can have a random poll show up in your Header.asp or Footer.asp file that is viewable on all your website pages.
When adding a poll to your website, all you need to do is click the “Add Poll” button on the top of your screen and fill out the following fields:
Question – Enter the question you want your users to vote on.
List Under Portal – Select the portal you want the create poll to be listed under. This option will only appear if you have the “Portal” module enabled.
Start Date – Enter a date format for the poll begin appearing on your website.
End Date – Enter a date format for the poll to stop displaying on your website.
Option 1 – 10 – You can enter up to ten different options that your users will click on to vote for the answer they select.
Enable the “Polls”? – Select “Yes” to enable the “Polls” module, otherwise select “No”.
Keys to access the “Polls”. – Select the keys that will be able to access the “Polls” module.
Keys to vote for a poll. – Select the keys a user must have to vote on a poll.
Keys to manage the “Polls”. – Select the keys a user must have to manage the “Polls” module. Users in this key will be able to modify and add new “Polls” to your website.
This screen will allow you to modify the main “Polls” page that a user will view when entering the ”Polls” module.
