Forms
The “Forms” module is used for your users can submit forms to an email address that the administrator has specified. The management of this module allows you to add and edit forms with custom fields on your website.
When adding a form to your website, you will have the following options:
Title – The title a user will see to click on to view the form.
List Under Portal – The portal you want the form to show under. This option will only show if you have the portals module enabled.
Email Address – Specify an email address you want the form to be emailed to.
Description – A description telling the user what this form is all about.
When clicking on a form to edit a form, you will have two more buttons on the top of your screen. One will show you the submissions, meaning the forms people have submitted to be stored in your database. The “Questions” button will allow you to add and edit questions from the form that you are currently editing.
When you click on the “Questions” button you will be able to sort the questions in the order you specify, or delete and add new questions to your form. When editing or adding a question you will have the following options:
Question Type – Select from the dropdown that you specify what kind of input a user will have when filling out this question.
Mandatory Question – Select “Yes” to make this question required for a user to fill out.
Question – This can be in HTML, and this is the actual question a user will be answering.
When you click on the “Sections” button you will be able to sort the sections in the order you specify, or delete and add a new section to your form. When editing or adding a section you will only have an option for a "Section Name" that will just be the caption of the section when viewing the form from a user point of view.
Enable the Forms module? – Select “Yes” to enable this module so it’s viewable to your users otherwise select “No”.
Form for users to fill out when signing up. – If you have created a form in the admin panel then this dropdown will show th forms you have created so you can select a form that a user is required to fill out after they signup on your website.
Form for users to fill out when logging in. – This dropdown will present forms that you have created so a user must fill out a form when logging into your website. If a user already filled out this form and logs into your website then it will not sure again for that user when logging in.
Keys to access the forms. – Select the keys a user must have to access the forms page to submit their forms.
Keys to manage the forms. – Select the keys a user must use to edit and delete forms on your website.
This option allows you to modify the main page to the “Forms” module that the user will view when they access this module.
