The changed domain is only used if you request a domain change. After your name servers are updated for your domain and it’s pointed to your server, there may be some links or images on your pages that are pointed to your old domain name. This will do a “Find and Replace” and make sure all the HTML code on your web pages don’t include the old domain name that may cause images from displaying or links that go to the wrong location.
