Approval Chains

The approval chains will enable you to configure approvals to approve content that your users have posted before it is visible on your web site. To add a new approval chain then simply click on Add Approval Chain.

When adding a new approval chain you can allow up to 10 email addresses to approve content before it is added to your site. If you have more then one email address configured then what will happen is if the first email address in your list approves the content then the second person will receive an email and it will go down to the end of the chain. If someone in the middle or beginning of the chains doesn't approve the content then the next person will not receive an email.

The module list to apply the approval chain to is a list of all the modules that support the approval chains. You can also target the approval chains to certain portals or have the chain applies globally by selecting all the portals.

To view all content waiting for approval then click on "Waiting Approval" and you will be displayed with a list of items through all the modules that are waiting for approval so the Administrator can approve content from the screen to overwrite the approval emails.
